Embrace Doves

Doves are a popular presence at funerals and memorials. Occasionally, a family might choose to release doves at the opening or closing of a ceremony in the death of a loved one. Doves are powerful symbols of peace.  They are often seen not only to represent peace during times of war or conflict, but also as harbingers of peace.  They bring peace to individuals, granting them a feeling of serenity and calm. There is a peace in action as well as peace within the spirit.
